SUN RISING has shown plenty of ability this season and posted a victory at Beverley in August. The daughter of New Approach now makes her all-weather debut and should appreciate this ease in grade. Twistaline recorded an encouraging second-placed effort at Kempton last month and could be the danger, now fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Eight Of Diamonds has hinted at promise and is one to note for any market support on his racecourse debut.

EL HIBRI sets the standard in this contest after a second-placed effort at Kempton last month and he gets the vote to break his maiden tag here. Greyart shaped with promise at Yarmouth and can take a step forward now tackling this longer distance. Rock Melody is another to consider in this contest but needs to bounce back after a disappointing display at Goodwood.

TOP TABLE made a pleasing start to her racing career when recording a third-placed finish at Chelmsford last month and she can build on that performance here. Dubai Hope has hinted at ability on her two starts and is likely to be on the premises, while Matamua can make her presence felt now pitched back into maiden company after some promise in handicaps.

TOUCHWOOD disappointed at Goodwood last time but his form prior to that race looks strong in the context of this contest, so if he can bounce back from that performance, he will have strong claims. Show Me A Sunset took a step forward when second to Twilight Secret here and if he can build on that performance, he will have a live chance as well. Alcazan won well at this venue on his latest start and another bold show looks likely.

VOLATILE ANALYST comes here after finishing 12th in the Ayr Gold Cup and he could be very dangerous at this level if he enjoys the Tapeta. Nelson Gay has shown that he has the ability to make an impact in this sort of race and he won well the last time he visited this venue, so it would be no surprise to see him involved as well. Caroline Dale could be a big player if she can bounce back from her run at Doncaster, as a reproduction of her best form would give her a live chance.

HOOFLEPUFF is in fine form at present after recording two wins and a second in his last three starts, with both victories coming at this venue. He clearly likes this course and looks the one to beat. Blistering Barney was narrowly denied by Great Coalaci at Haydock last time and he is another with a good chance if he can translate his turf form to this surface. Flying Dragon may also feature after producing a more encouraging effort at Bath on his latest outing.

TYCHE failed to record a hat-trick when seventh at Musselburgh last time out, but the four-year-old filly gets the nod to resume her progress now switching back to Tapeta. The dual course-and-diatance winner Artisan Bleu rates the most immediate danger returning to this venue, despite failing to fire on her last two outings. Mr Fustic has shown plenty of promising signs in his four starts to date and he is another to consider.

MEADRAM ran on well to draw clear of his laboured rivals over C&D last time out and a 3lb rise may be unable to stop the three-year-old from repeating that feat. Aussie Rascal gave a good account at this venue last time out and the lightly raced gelding demands plenty of respect, while Go Oscar Go has dropped to an appealing mark and is worth a close look.
