Borough Boy is only 2lb higher than when suffering a neck defeat over this trip on turf at Nottingham last month and looks poised to strike again anytime soon, though marginal preference is for fellow C&D winner CRUISE TOTHELIMIT, who went down by just half a length at Wolverhampton last time and has the assistance of a talented 7lb claimer in the saddle. Recent Lingfield third Vale Of Flight completes the shortlist.

MAKANAH shaped with plenty of promise when third on debut at York and is entitled to improve tonight with the benefit of that initial experience under his belt. Fusion Central appears to be improving between runs and may be capable of playing a supporting role, while once-raced Richard Hannon inmate Wildnightinvegas could take a hand, though a bigger danger to the selection may be Tom Dascombe's newcomer Bumble Beeze.

Malcolm Saunders representative TITUS SECRET landed minor money off this mark at Salisbury last time and is expected to give another good account. Insolenceofoffice landed minor money over track and trip last time and is the expected to put up most resistance, while Forever Yours appears to be coming to hand and also has place possibilities if building on his latest fifth at Kempton, which was his first outing since February.

DEEDS NOT WORDS is 3lb higher than when scoring over this trip at Kempton last time (with Generalyse back in fourth) but remains well treated on his best form and may be able to follow up to notch a double. Mr Chuckles is a pillar of consistency and is capable of sneaking some minor money, though a bigger danger to the selection may be Strictly Carter, who is only 2lb higher than when scoring over C&D in February.

VIEWPOINT comfortably accounted for Retrieve in a seller at Catterick five days ago and it is tough to see that form being reversed here. Mick Appleby's charge won't mind dropping in distance and can claim what looks to be a slightly more competitive contest than what the two competed in last time out. Irish Hawke has been struggling over hurdles but could be rejuvenated back in this sphere, while Azari is a rare runner here for Paul Nicholls.

KINGSLEY KLARION returned to form when second at Chelmsford last month and a repeat performance would see the four-year-old go very close under Franny Norton. Joey's Destiny was dropping in grade at Catterick last time out and it was disappointing that he couldn't land the spoils after being heavily supported, while Art Echo has won two of his last three and should continue to go well in this grade for John Mackie and his connections.

Bicolour looked in dire need of the run on debut at Wetherby and showed little to suggest that her winning turn would be anytime soon, while Richard Hannon's Getna has been competing in better races than this and should be going close for a handler that doesn't often waste a trip to this venue. Preference, however, is for ANGEL'S QUEST, who cost connections 65,000 euros and is a sister to a French all-weather winner over a similar distance. She has more scope for improvement than most of these and looks set to be a smart type given time.

BROUGHTONS FANCY is a four-time winner at this track and she only found one too good from a 1lb higher mark over C&D last month. Dusky Maid should be capable of running well from a mark of 65, especially in a moderate event such as this. Do You Know ran well in a decent maiden maiden here in January and she is one to note on her return to the Tapeta.
