Winner of five of his 12 starts and currently rated 90. Gained his last success in a handicap at Southwell (6f) in April when beating Billyjoh a neck off a mark of 88.

Trainer says

Al Barez is five from 12 and he is a lovely horse. I think he will go to Kempton in September. He was a little unlucky in the Racing League from a difficult draw and he seems very well and happy in himself now. Fingers crossed he will be back to go pretty close again soon.

Winner of five of his 19 starts. Best effort this season when finishing runner-up, beaten two lengths, to Tower Of London in the Group 2 Dubai Gold Cup at Meydan (2m) in March when trained by Guy Doleuze.

Trainer says

He is a lovely good-looking son of Dubawi and he has some very good form. I don’t think he is short of speed and I think he is at his best on better ground but he is pretty versatile ground-wise. All being well he will start in the Lonsdale at York. He has been with us a couple of months and he has been shaping up well in his homework. I am looking forward to running him and Luke Morris will ride. It was a really good run against Tower of London in Meydan and York has a similar track make-up. We have him entered up elsewhere but let’s get his first run under his belt and see where we go.

Trainer says

He has been working well and he has been a good horse for us. He has his quirks and is an older boy now and he will run at Kempton on Tuesday. He looks in good shape and, hopefully, will run a good race.

Jumbeau is a really tough filly and very likeable. She will go to York this week and she is best on better ground. She is versatile over five and six furlongs but is possibly getting quicker as she gets older.

Trainer says

She is a lovely filly and we are thinking of targeting some nice prizes on the All-Weather through the winter with her. She has some nice form and doesn’t want it too quick. The ground was too tight for her at Ascot and the stiff mile probably stretched her a bit but back on easier ground or the All-Weather you will see her to better effect.

A winner twice since joining the stable this season and gained his last success at Newmarket (5f) in July when beating Myconian a length and a quarter off a mark of 82. Creditable effort in a valuable handicap at Goodwood (5f) at the end of July when third, beaten two and a half lengths, to Tattersall off a mark of 87.

Trainer says

He was third at the Glorious meeting and all being well he goes back to Goodwood at the end of the week. Again, he is by a very good sire in Havana Grey and he is a really likeable horse who can, hopefully, continue to progress.

Winner of four of his 13 starts and currently rated 107. Finished seventh, beaten five lengths, to Big Evs in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Goodwood (5f) in August. Had previously finished runner-up, beaten a length and a half, to Starlust in a listed contest at York (5f) in July.

Trainer says

He hasn’t really had the rub of the green this year and we have a few hard luck stories. He didn’t get a smooth run at Goodwood at all and he ran a very nice race behind Starlust at York in Listed company. He had to come around horses there and it didn’t work out. We will go to Longchamp for a Group 3 in the middle of September - he ran so well in the l’Abbaye there and it makes sense to go back to that track.

Winner of two of his four starts and currently rated 91. Returned to winning form on his latest outing at Newmarket (7f) when scoring by half a length from Waiting All Night off a mark of 87.

Trainer says

He won really nicely at the July course last weekend and the form was franked when the second came out and won this week. I thought it was a lovely win at Newmarket and he didn’t get a smack and it was all very easy. Seven furlongs was the recommendation of Tom Marquand and he has certainly been shaping up well in his work at home. I felt the mile was starting to stretch him out a bit and he is an exciting horse. He is learning on the job a little bit and is now off 91. He wants top of the ground to be at his best and he could go to Doncaster in a nice seven-furlong three-year-old handicap at the St Leger meeting but he is ground dependent. He has plenty of size about him and you would hope he would make up into a nice four-year-old.

Finished runner-up, beaten half a length, to Bengurion in a novice at Kempton in May and made short work of his rivals in a maiden at Lingfield (7f) in June when beating Dimsons seven and a half lengths. Had an easy task when beating Atso three and a quarter lengths over that course and distance at the end of July.

He won nicely under a penalty in a novice at Lingfield recently and has his first run in handicap company at Newmarket this weekend. He might want top of the ground or the All-Weather and I am looking forward to seeing him run. His work looks to be improving.

Kento really deserves to win a race and he is a fun horse. We might go back to Lingfield with him where he ran very well recently. Hopefully, he will go in soon.

He has shaped up well and has had two runs in handicap company. The first run we thought he was a bit unlucky and the second run it didn’t work out for whatever reason and he came back with a slight issue. He is much better than that and I hope he might be a horse that stays well. He is a horse with a lovely pedigree and I hope he can progress. We like what we see at home.

She runs on Tuesday and is a nice filly by Dark Angel. She ran a nice race on her debut in handicap company but the ground was too tight so Oisin (Murphy) just looked after her. Back on the All-Weather or on easier ground she will be seen to better effect.

Trainer says

Skipper is a lovely horse and I thought we bumped into one last time out. I thought he would win that day and he bumped into a nice horse and they finished 11 lengths clear of an 85-rated horse. He is a very good-looking horse with plenty of size and scope. All being well he will make up into a lovely four-year-old and, hopefully, he can just go and win his race next time out. He goes to Chelmsford for a mile maiden a week on Thursday and his work looks to be improving.

Surrey Shadow has ran three nice races and unfortunately had a setback and will be out for the rest of the season. He should be a lovely four-year-old next year and when we get him back on the track next year he can make up for lost time. He is owned by Surrey Racing and the form of his races is working out well.

He ran a lovely race at Ascot last time and I have him in the Melrose Handicap at York and at Goodwood this weekend. I think the thought of going a mile and six around York is the way to go. I think he is improving and with a good draw and a bit of luck I hope he can run a sound race.

Trainer says

He won really nicely at the Glorious meeting and the cheekpieces appeared to help. He is pretty versatile ground-wise and he wasn’t right at Chester on his penultimate start. He looks in good form and he will go back to Goodwood on Sunday. He is off 105 so he is at the top end of handicaps where we start thinking of Pattern company but we will see after Sunday. He is a really likeable horse and I hope he can do well for the Bronte Partnership.

Trainer says

He has run two nice races so far this season and I thought after his debut he would stay the mile well but, perhaps, he didn’t quite stay the stiff mile at Sandown. He should be running a nice race next time out and we go to Chester at the end of the month. He will run in nurseries after that and he’s a nice horse who tries hard. Hopefully, he will get his head in front soon.

Winner of one of her three starts and currently rated 91. Off the mark with two and a quarter length victory from Bintabuha in a novice at Newmarket (7f) in June. Highly creditable effort in a Group 2 Fillies contest at Deauville (7f) in July when fourth, beaten two lengths, to Angeal.

Trainer says

She ran a really nice race at Deauville where she didn’t really get out and was boxed in and had no smooth run. There was nothing Christophe (Soumillon) could do and we weren’t beat that far. I think you can mark-up that run and she is in Goodwood on Sunday in a Group 3 there. She has trained for that race really and her work has been good. She maybe be a big price but I would like to think she can run a nice race at Goodwood. I don’t think she would want really soft ground but other than that she is versatile.

She won really nicely at Lingfield last month and nearly broke the track record. She is in the Sales and we might make a move on and try and get some more prize money for the Owners.

Trainer says

I had him in the Acomb at York but I just felt the ground was tight for him. He is horse who we have liked watching train all year. His fast work has been good and I hope he can progress. We could go to Sandown next week or Doncaster for the Flying Scotsman and he is in the Champagne. We will just have to see but I would be hoping he can shape up in some Stakes races soon.

He won really nicely at Southwell after a disappointing first run and we gelded him after. That seems to have helped do the trick and he won well. He needs to go in a novice under a penalty. He is a really nice horse for the Moulton Syndicate and we hope he can continue to do well. They are a lovely bunch of Owners and great to train for.

He has been a bit unlucky and could nearly have won a couple of times this year. He goes to Lingfield for a novice at the end of the month over a sharp five furlongs which will really suit. It would be great if he could get his head in front and it wasn’t his true form at Beverley last time out.

He ran really well on his debut and is a brother to Rogue Lightning. He was a bit colty beforehand at Kempton but he gives you a lovely feeling and I hope he would take a step forward next time out. There or five or six maidens coming up in the next 10 days to two and a half weeks and there is a good chance he will go to Haydock or Kempton.

He ran really nicely on his debut at Newmarket on Saturday. We got a bit lonely and had nothing to race with. I feel that was quite a deep race and the third set a good standard. We will try and find a maiden and there is one at Wolverhampton in three weeks’ time. He is a good-looking horse who I hope can get off the mark next time.
