Toulouse - Sunday 1st March 2026
A very competitive looking race. L'AUTONOME AA (5) is improving and could be ready to score so gets a narrow vote. MAJOR DE GUERRE AA (6) was a faller last time out but had some fair form before that and could be a threat. MORFALOU AA (4) is better than his last run would suggest and would not be a surprise winner. CENTLOU AA (1) is also capable of success if showing his best and must be respected for that.
PIC DU MIDI (11) has improved with the aid of blinkers, with some solid wins. He has also won over this course and distance so can complete his hat-trick. NOCE DE RUBIS (2) is usually a threat and should be involved with the finish once again. SIR CRATER (5) has lost his way a bit of late but could bounce back over this shorter distance. NOVA HOPE (7) is unreliable but not out of it over this course and distance.
A tricky race. PRAIRIE SAMBA (2) looked good when winning on her hurdle debut but did not repeat it at Auteuil last time out. MICAWBER (3) has been better on the flat so far but would not be a surprise winner of this particular race. ESCORT'MAN (1) seems better judged on his penultimate start victory and must be respected for that. MISSILE (5) showed improvement second time around and is another to consider.
An interesting race as most of them are making their chase debut. METRONOMY (2) is the best of these over hurdles and should make a bold bid at scoring on chase debut. MATOUDY (6) returns from a break but has shown ability and could like these larger obstacles, so is the main danger. PETRUS DE HOUELLE (3) has chase experience and is likely to play a hand at the finish. MACIMO CONTI (1) has been unreliable so far but is clearly not out of it.
LANDMAN (3) is from a powerful yard and out of a dam that won at Group 2 level at two. He makes a lot of appeal on paper and is a tentative selection. ZAKIYYAH GOLD (1) comes from a stable that knows how to get horses ready and is best to be monitored in the betting. GLOW UP (6) is a half-sister to two winners and should be respected for that. TEO'S BARLEY CEN (7) has been entered in the French Classics and must be closely monitored.
ASPIRE (6) brings solid form into the race and will take all the beating if she runs up to her standard. BARISTO (2) is off since last November but has shown enough in 2025 to be closely monitored on his seasonal bow. VATICANA (5) has made the frame in all four starts on the all-weather and cannot be ignored from any betting calculations on her first run on turf. QUEEN MEKHTAAL (3) made a good impression when scoring at Cagnes sur Mer and has to be respected too.
MOSSANA AA (7) got off the mark at Tarbes last October and could be a nice filly on the making. She finished in front of FLINTILIE AA (8) that day by only a very short margin and the two are likely to fight out the finish once again. HINSILAYA AA (3) has not run since September but is from a yard that knows how to get horses ready. She is a natural shortlist candidate. MADMAX DE LASSALES AA (5) steps up in grade after a good win at Agen and cannot be ignored from any betting calculations.
A sound winner of his second career start, HILAL (2) stands a good winning chance although he runs on the turf for the first time. Stablemate ALIBABA DU NIL (7) was a surprise 3rd in a Group 3 on debut and could be a nice horse on the making. SKY AMBER KRF (1) was not far behind the former last time out and is worth some consideration. SHAN (3) was a big price winner at Agen and must have more to offer.
