Verdict

It was much more like it from De Kingpin when third here last month and it's possible that a drop in trip will play to his strengths, but GLANCE OF GLORY gets the vote. Martin Keighley's charge didn't jump well at Aintree but, to his credit, he was still in contention two from home. Both of his wins have come at this sort of trip and although there are some doubts regarding testing ground, he won't be far away if handling it. Robber's Bridge is another to consider.

Expert View Verdict

An open race where it may be worth siding with the steadily progressive ROBBER'S BRIDGE. This is his toughest task to date but he had plenty in the tank last time so a 7lb rise may well underestimate him. He's open to further improvement over this longer trip and can defeat the inconsistent De Kingpin who returned to form last time when placed in a stronger contest here over 3m. He remains a maiden but is dangerously treated on his best novice form. Of those at bigger prices Tyson makes some appeal at the bottom of the weights. He is yet to fire for his current stable but he is fairly treated on his best Irish form and will appreciate this step back up in distance.
