A taking winner on his last two starts at this track, SYMBOL OF HOPE continues to go from strength to strength and a 5lb penalty for his most recent success may not be enough to prevent him from making it three wins in four. Two and a half lengths behind him last time was Street Parade (second), who is now 9lb better off at the weights and likely to improve for the step up in trip. Amasova has a chance as well if building on a strong effort at Wetherby.

RUMSTAR shaped with abundant promise when narrowly denied on debut at Windsor and the son of Havana Grey is a confident selection to go one better here. The main danger looks to be the reopposing Swear, who got going late in that same contest and is likely to improve for the experience. Al Khazneh wasn't beaten far on his racecourse bow at Leicester and he must enter calculations as well.

It was difficult not to be impressed by the way SAVVY KNIGHT put the race to bed on debut at Nottingham and the step up in trip could eke out improvement as he looks to follow up. Our Jester has run to a high level in bumpers, including a respectable seventh at the Cheltenham Festival, and Hughie Morrison is as good as any when it comes to training dual-purpose performers. Maggie's Delight is likely to pick up the pieces if the aforementioned pair falter.

Eight Of Diamonds won last time out, but only by a head on the all-weather and there is no guarantee he will be able to reproduce that form on turf. MUCUNA struggled to get a clear run here last time before coming home in fourth off this mark over shorter, but she has that track experience and won on her penultimate start on a similar surface at Salisbury. She can go well off bottom-weight, leaving Campese as an improver who may take third.

With a lack of winning form to work with the Salisbury third of PROMOTION stands out in this field, and an added 1lb from the handicapper may not stop him getting off the mark for a stable that have been in amongst the winners recently. He could prove too good for Mrembo, who ran on nicely into sixth over a mile at Windsor and looks all set to go well over this trip, and The Residencies, who is making his handicap debut.

In an open race the marginal preference is for PLANSINA, who is a dual C&D winner and she hit the crossbar over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton last time. Blue Hero was not disgraced on his return to action here last month and he should not be underestimated, while Persuasive Powers and Spirit Warning are others who make the shortlist.

GIRL INTHE PICTURE filled second place off this mark over 1m2f here nine days ago and the drop back in trip can help the daughter of Lawman to go one better this evening. Belisa De Vega put in a promising display on her seasonal/handicap debut last month and she could prove to be the main danger. That said, Adatorio and Aurelia Gold should not be discounted either.
