CALL NICKI just gets the vote ahead of fellow last-start winner Tango Hotel on the basis that her success came over this C&D. An impressive winner on that occasion, she now goes handicapping for the first time off what looks a workable mark of 73. Tango Hotel won on soft ground at Ffos Las and should go well providing this quicker surface doesn't catch her out, while Caturra Lights and Or Another aren't completely overlooked.

WEE MARY might be worth chancing in this sprint handicap and is better judged on her last couple of Musselburgh efforts rather than a lacklustre display at Ayr on Monday. She's performed well before on the quick turnaround and gets the nod ahead of Great Profit, who showed a lot more at Ayr last month. Fear And Fast isn't without claims either.

MY MATE ROGER gets first-time cheekpieces for this assignment and can finally break through. He was beaten at skinny odds at Doncaster latest but his form prior to that was quite strong in the context of this race and he's not going to get many better opportunities than this. He's taken to strike at the expense of Test Run and Matter Of Britain.

Rhoscolyn has won similar races four times off higher marks, and scored twice here in weaker races, but he will need to bounce back from his Epsom 11th last month where he did not get the run of the race. He can go well, but I'LL BE BACK is the possible improver. The winner of both starts by a length over shorter, he could be well handicapped with the potential for more to come. English Oak is another to consider on his better efforts.

BREAK THE BANK looked to be coming to a peak when second at Ayr off 1lb lower on only his second start since August 2024. If the blinkers work a second time, he could try to make all back at the mile. Kaleido ran into traffic issues before finishing second here last time and may have to settle for more of the same, while Inspired and Jannas Journey look closely matched on their recent meeting.

DOON THE GLEN makes a quick reappearance having paid the price for setting a strong pace under an apprentice rider at Ayr three days ago. Only 2lb higher than last month's C&D success, he gets another chance with Paul Mulrennan taking over the reins. Tarlac posted a better effort here last time having tumbled down the handicap. He could be thereabouts at the business end, as could the recent Pontefract third Lady Bouquet.

ALNAYEF needed only to be pushed out to land an amateurs race by seven lengths over C&D last time. Jim Goldie's charge made every yard and will take some catching if allowed his own way in front once again. Time Turner scored at Newcastle at the start of the year and steps up in trip with solid claims representing Ed Bethell's in-form yard, while Bruce Banner is regularly in the mix off similar marks.
