It could pay to side with Irish challenger, RUDIGREEN, here. This 2m4f hurdler scorer was up in the van at Limerick last month before fitness possibly kicked in and he faded into fourth and that first outing in almost a year will have blown any cobwebs away. Thehillofuisneach has shown flashes of promise in three novice events and warrants respect on his handicap debut, while Frameit is worthy of consideration after a much improved effort at Folkestone recently.

It's difficult to look past ALASI on her chasing bow. She was some way clear of these on official ratings over timber and looked better than ever when landing a Listed contest in that sphere at Wetherby last time. Another tackling fences for the first time, Be My Light, rates the biggest threat having been in cracking form over hurdles recently, while Kings Queen wasn't completely disgraced on her chasing debut last month and may have improved for that first start since March.

Pinerolo makes plenty of appeal on his handicap debut for a Sue Smith stable who have been in cracking form recently, but DINEUR edges the vote. This consistent gelding was fairly impressive when making all to win over 2m at Wincanton last week and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to stop him if in the same mood. Keep Talking also shoulders a penalty for Sunday's Warwick success and must come into the reckoning.

SOMERSBY could prove difficult to beat representing the stable that has won five of the last nine runnings of this Grade 2 contest. After easily brushing aside Aiteen Thirtythree at Kempton in October, he stepped up significantly on that when runner-up behind an impressive Master Minded in the Amlin Chase at Ascot 19 days ago and seems sure mount a bold bid here before heading to Kempton for the King George Chase on Boxing Day. The Nightingale is most feared after his promising reappearance in Grade 1 company at Down Royal last month, while it's difficult to overlook the progressive Mr Moonshine.

GLEBEHALL BAY wasn't without support when winning impressively on his seasonal reappearance over an extended 3m1f at Hereford eight days ago and, despite being burdened with a 7lb penalty, he will be fancied to complete a quickfire double. Inga Bird returned to form over hurdles at Carlisle last month and could figure prominently on this first start over fences, while Eliades Run looks a lively outsider off bottom-weight.

ITALIAN MASTER gets the nod in what looks an above average novices' hurdle. He was bought for 240,000 after winning his only point-to-point start to Dromahane in March and connections will be hopeful of a big run on this NH debut. Tuscan Gold won twice on the level for Sir Mark Prescott and has reportedly schooled well prior to today's hurdling debut, while Dawn Commander, Bowdler's Magic and Hit The Headlines are other exciting prospects.

7

15:30 Huntingdon (Class 6) (4YO to 6YO)

GO SET GO has displayed a fair level of ability in three bumper starts thus far, only a length behind exciting prospect Cinders And Ashes on debut at Fontwell, and he appears to have been found a decent opportunity to open his account today. Amalric made a pleasing introduction at Bangor last month and could go close here if building on that, while Well Mett was bought out of John Joseph Hanlon's yard after winning first time up at Downpatrick in August and has definite claims.
