MISTY BLOOM has excelled for Emma Lavelle this winter so far and can build on his most recent triumph at Taunton to land a hat-trick now, with regular partner Patrick Cowley in the saddle. Midnight Glory was much improved when scoring at Ludlow last time and makes appeal despite a steep 7lb rise, while similar applies to Fontwell winner Silver Sea. Theredballoon is a live outsider if repeating the best of his form away from his favoured Southwell.

BAGS GROOVE was an impressive winner of a Wincanton Grade 2 last time when nine lengths clear of the Persian War winner Secret Investor, with Harry Fry's seven-year-old unbeaten in two starts this winter and looking like three miles should pose few problems. Thomas Campbell did little wrong when scoring at odds-on at Ludlow to open his chasing account and he should be capable of being competitive in this sphere, while Chameron is sure to have plenty of schooling following an error-filled round at Chepstow.

BREWIN'UPASTORM went someway to justifying his 250,000 pound price tag when romping to success on debut at Hereford, beating the useful Portrush Ted by a going-away nine lengths in a bumper. He was only seen one further time last season, in Newbury's Listed bumper in February when not disgraced in fourth. Olly Murphy's exciting prospect was put away following that outing and makes plenty of appeal in his first run over timber with Richard Johnson booked. Brecon Hill landed a course and distance affair last month and is respected despite this looking much tougher, so it may be best to look towards Flat recruits Winston C and Kyllachy Gala to lead the list of dangers. Flash The Steel had a future winner behind him when second at Bangor on his hurdles bow and he is another to consider here.

WILLIAM H BONNEY made his reappearance a winning one after a disappointing 2017/18 season and he can continue that good form now the penny has dropped. A revised mark of 129 is still more than fair, and these conditions should be fine for the seven-year-old. Eskendash was third behind a fairly treated rival at Wetherby last time, while Shiroccan Roll was second to a smart animal at Wincanton when last seen (rated 14lb inferior) and should go well.

CHARBEL gave subsequent Betvictor Gold Cup winner Baron Alco 12lb when beating him at Chepstow in October before finishing second to the classy Politologue at Ascot two weeks ago, and that form is by far the strongest on offer here. The seven-year-old is held in the highest regard by Kim Bailey and has been found a nice opening to land a big pot. God's Own isn't getting any younger but won the Haldon Gold Cup well at Exeter last time out, while Josses Hill, who won this in 2016, also warrants a second look following a wind operation.

SILVER FOREVER bolted up between the flags in May and made a winning start to life under Rules when winning by five lengths in a bumper at Chepstow last time. Another big run from Paul Nicholls' progressive performer seems assured. Kissesforkatie picked up some minor money in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham three weeks ago and is feared most, while Hotter Than Hell is entitled to step up on a promising debut spin at Newbury and also take a hand.

BOUGHTBEFORELUNCH stayed on well on the run-in when scoring by six lengths over the extended 2m4f at Southwell last month and promises to be suited by this step up in trip. The Boss's Dream is well treated on his best hurdles form but needs to bounce back from a lacklustre run at Hereford, when unseating his rider. Others to consider are Tanacando, who sports a first-time tongue-tie, and recent Lingfield second Dalkadam.
