Rock Road has plenty of find on the figures but could prove dangerous if left alone in front, while Due Reward looks just about the pick of Henry de Bromhead's duo.

BALLYNEETY looked a nice prospect when making a successful to his hurdles career at Gowran recently and, with improvement on the cards, he is taken to confirm that impression by following up here. He was amongst the best bumper performers around last season, finishing third at the Cheltenham Festival before landing Punchestown's feature event, and it's worth noting that Willie Mullins has won the last three renewals of this contest. The daughter of Yeats shaped with plenty of promise last term, both over hurdles and in the odd bumper, and it was unfortunate how she signed off the season with a fall in Grade 3 company at Limerick. She now enters the handicap ranks off a fair-looking mark and shades the verdict ahead of Party Playboy, who was a fine third on his handicap bow over the extended 2m here, and Thurles maiden winner Jake Peter.

Willie Mullins' charge has only run twice over this trip, hacking up at Gowran 13 months ago before touched off in the Melling Chase at Aintree, and everything looks in place for him to run another mighty race. JLT hero Shattered Love returned with a fine effort in Grade 2 company at Down Royal and she demands respect receiving the mares allowance, while Balko Des Flos, an easy Ryanair winner in March, can hopefully leave behind his disappointing comeback.

GETABIRD sets a high standard on what he achieved over hurdles being a dual Grade 2 winner and he has the potential to prove just as good, if not better, over the larger obstacles. He showed last season that going right-handed suits him best and Willie Mullins bids for his third success in four years in this event. Portmore Lough shaped with promise behind Winter Escape at Galway in September, while Mitchouka is better than what he showed behind Cadmium in a Grade 3 here in October.

Watch out for: Portmore Lough (10)

While several of these are talented, GETABIRD is head and shoulders above the rest judged on his hurdling exploits last season. Furthermore, this former point winner looks a real chasing type and he'll prove hard to beat if jumping proficiently. Moon Over Germany is entitled to need the run following a lengthy absence, which leaves Mitchouka and Articulum as the most viable each-way alternatives.
