BENAUD comes here an unexposed type on handicap debut and could prove well handicapped. He has missed the break on all four of his starts to date and was an eye-catcher on his fourth maiden start at Limerick a week ago, having again missed the break badly. He looks sure to appreciate the step back up to a mile and while he does need to break faster, the switch to nursery grade could bring about improvement. Moonhall Girl has shown good improvement in her career thus far and while penalised 14lbs for winning a Fairyhouse claimer in September, she subsequently ran well in a similar nursery to this at the Curragh, also last month. She looks likely to run another solid race here but while she also holds no fewer than six of today's rivals on her two September nursery runs, is vulnerable to unexposed rivals. Vocito was a beaten favourite in that Curragh race when the pair met and has his chance on earlier form. A keen-going type, he ran well in a premier nursery at Listowel and has solid claims if reproducing that run, having been hampered at the start at the Curragh subsequently. Hector De Maris has shown ability thus far and should go well on his first nursery attempt, while Shalaalaa has also shown useful form but steps up markedly in trip for the first time. Avagardner also steps up to a mile from six furlongs on her latest run, but has won a 7f maiden and can get involved on handicap debut.

REAL FORCE has always shown ability and did well to beat a subsequent Listed winner at Tipperary in August, with the form receiving a further boost with the third winning three handicaps since. He goes well with ease in the ground, is likely to have been primed for this race and can continue his progression. Laughifuwant is a consistent and capable type who comes here with every chance having won the Cambridgeshire before being touched off in the Concorde Stakes at Tipperary. He is vulnerable to any progressive, high-class prospects but should be bang there at the business end. Surrounding has won nine races including a Group 3 and four Listed races and is another with strong claims. She drops down in grade here having ran solid races in defeat at Group 2 level on her most recent starts and is the top adjusted rated runner. Irish Admiral beat three subsequent maiden winners when showing good ability to win on debut at Dundalk in August and while this is clearly a step up in class, can still go well. Free Solo has approximately four lengths to find with the selection on a line through Aztec Parade but has place prospects.

Sent off odds-on favourite, ONTARIO was travelling well early in the straight last time at Tipperary but couldn't find a way past the useful but lower-rated filly Sweet Gardenia. He's still the one to beat based on his placed efforts in Group 2 company at the Curragh and Newmarket. Zaffy's Pride has been doing well at Dundalk and beat colts in a Listed race there last time. She'll need to progress a bit more to win this but that's not out of the question. Poetic Flare will be sharper for his run in last weekend's Dewhurst when far from discredited on his first outing since winning his maiden in March. Masen could be given a chance on his close third at this level on his penultimate start but was too keen when disappointing last time while promising maiden winners Federal and Inca Prince are others to bear in mind.

LORD PARK ran well behind the subsequent big improver Sonnyboyliston at the Curragh in July and has posted a string of consistent efforts in handicaps since then. He was staying on well last time at Tipperary and his rider's valuable claim could be crucial as he switches back to maiden company. Charlie Bassett has been runner-up in his last four starts and is likely to go close again. Yankee Stadium may have needed his first run of the year at Navan and the ground might have been too testing for him last time at Listowel so he's not one to rule out. Aiseirigh ran well in a hot maiden at the Curragh in June but hasn't been seen since that creditable debut.

SON OF HYPNOS may be able to follow up wins at Galway and Tipperary. He's up 8lb for that latter victory but a good claimer negates most of that rise and he seems versatile regarding ground conditions. Jeff Kidder is up 3lb for a win on his last Flat start at Bellewstown and is partnered by the season's leading apprentice. He's up in class a fair bit and might find a couple too good. Out of an Oaks winner, Knight Of Malta takes a big step up in trip and is an interesting handicap debutant along with Khairy who ran quite well in his first two runs in maidens. Camorra ran fairly well in a competitive heat at Killarney last time and is not ruled out.

A winner on handicap debut at Killarney in July, HAPARANDA built on that when a good third at the Curragh the following month. Dermot Weld has given her a fairly light campaign and she comes here fresh and open to more improvement. Melburnian had a luckless run when fourth last time at Listowel and is only 4lb higher than when winning this last year with a tongue-tie now tried for the first time. Off a featherweight useful dual-purpose performer Wajaaha will appeal to many and he's won over hurdles at this track. Powerful Ted might be able to turn around Champions Weekend form with Halimi and can go well for his in-form trainer.

FUTURE PROOF didn't take to fences last time but his most recent Flat run when fourth at Bellewstown wasn't too bad. He's dropped to quite an appealing mark and he ran two fine races in handicaps at this track last October. El Tren scooted clear when getting a gap on the rails at the Curragh and has won twice for this rider. The handicapper has been quite fair with the 9-year-old and he'll have his supporters with the stable going well. Call Me Dolly made the breakthrough at Thurles and might continue to improve while Rock On Seamie went close in a similar event at Tipperary in August and still gives the impression that he can win another one or two on the Flat.
