Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh took this race in 2013 with the late Vautour and their representative this year, C'EST JERSEY, gets the nod this afternoon. He showed ability in his native France and his hurdling experience could prove to be vital in such a big field. Black Key was a 110,000gns purchase off the Flat and with a rating of 85 on the level this son of Authorized merits respect. Others to note are Caliption, Chirico Vallis and Champayne Lady.

THREE SWALLOWSNICK was the clear-cut winner of a Listed bumper here last month, when she beat the useful Glen's Harmony, and she could well take a high standing in this sphere later in the season. Pravalaguna was the easy winner of a minor Flat race in the French provinces earlier in the year and she is bound to be popular given her connections. Miss Eyecatcher was highly tried on her sole hurdling start to date but she has plenty of ground to find with the selection.

Tyrone Tiger ended last season in fine form and the veteran may well have another good season this time around but the lack of a recent run is an obvious concern. KILKEASKINS FIRST arrives here on the back of a win at Fairyhouse last month and this relatively lightly-raced five-year-old can overcome a 7lb rise in the ratings. Boris Boru has been knocking on the door of late and Shrewdoperator put in an improved effort when third at Roscommon in October.

Henry de Bromhead launches a two-pronged assault courtesy of course scorer Three Stars and Attribution, who drops in class having found Identity Thief too good in Grade 2 company at Punchestown latest. Saddling half the field, it would come as no surprise if de Bromhead didn't win the race and BRIAR HILL sets the standard for leading connections. A winner on his second start over fences at Killarney in August, he won a Grade 1 over hurdles here three years ago - the same year he won the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival.

A competitive handicap in which ALISIER D'IRLANDE could be well treated off a mark of 145 on his handicap debut. The booking of a 7lb claimer only enhances his claims and, deemed good enough to contest the Arkle in March, there was a lot to like about his Naas reappearance in Grade 3 company. If he gets this trip, a big front-running performance looks assured. At the other end of the handicap, Kilcarry Bridge is expected to go well, but distance winner Ned Stark is feared most on his first start for Gordon Elliott. Ttebbob won the Grade 3 on this card 12 months ago.

PRINCE OF SCARS beat Alpha Des Obeaux in Grade 1 company at Leopardstown last term and shaped with promise when second on his chasing debut over 2m3f at Naas last time, an effort on which he is entitled to build this afternoon. Rathvinden has been absent since finishing a five-length third to Faugheen in the 2014 Neptune and is worth a market check on his return, while the likes of Edwulf and Gwencily Berbas should also be thereabouts if building on solid chase spins latest.

MINELLA FAIR shaped with promise on his first run under Rules when second in a C&D bumper last month and, with improvement anticipated, he rates the one to beat. Ken's Well ran to a similar level of form as the selection when runner-up at Thurles and is the one expected to put up most resistance. The pick of the remainder may be Mags Mullins' racecourse debutant Dr Wallace, who is related to several NH winners.
