BRANCASTER made a fantastic reappearance after over a year off when second at Lingfield and followed that up on his debut for Brian Ellison with an agonising defeat here last time. He's up 1lb for the latest of those efforts but can gain reward for his endeavours here. Quoteline Direct has also filled the runner-up spot on his last two outings and cannot be ignored, while George Ridsdale was a big disappointment over C&D last time but his previous emphatic win over 10f here still lingers in the memory and it might be too soon to write him off.

A good run from Brancaster in the preceding race would enhance the claims of GREENGAGE, who just mastered that rival here last time and is only 2lb higher today. Tristan Davidson's mare has been a revelation since stepping up to this trip and can get the better of recent Kempton second My Boy Sepoy here. Snookered drops back to the trip that saw him score over off 3lb lower back in August, while Hint Of Stars ran nicely on his first outing for Kevin Philippart De Foy and the Irish import could build on that.

Duel In The Sun showed up really well on debut at Newmarket back in June and could run another big race, but his lack of a recent outing does raise some concerns. Calculus went close over this track and trip two starts ago but ran a lifeless race when stepped up to 1m3f at Kempton last time, so it might be worth siding with REAL TERMS here. Grant Tuer's filly was sent off at 200/1 for her latest outing at Wolverhampton but ran on well for third and could be the answer in this. Power Of Time was a fair third on his final start for Charlie Appleby and is an interesting addition to the David O'Meara string.

ROLLER got within a length of success at Wolverhampton last time and a 2lb rise for that effort may not be enough to stop Mark Loughnane's gelding. My Boy Lewis came from off the pace to take third here and that run can be marked up as the two ahead of him were on the pace throughout. Island Storm bumped into a bang-in-form rival at Kempton last time and could go well, while Daafr is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark so could be a threat if finding his best form.

SWORD SPIRIT built on a couple of promising efforts to oblige on her handicap debut at Lingfield last Saturday and the filly appears to be more than capable of defying the 6lb penalty for that victory. Corked has been running consistently well in recent months and may benefit from a more positive ride dropping back to a mile, while Jewel Maker's recent form over C&D gives him every chance of going close.

DEOLALI got the better of Rockley Point when the pair met here last week and the step back up to 7f will suit the former more having won over C&D a few starts ago. Arlo's Sunshine commands respect on his handicap debut after shaping as though he needed his latest outing at Chelmsford, while others to note include Eldelbar and Three Card Trick.

WRATH OF HECTOR kept on strongly for a comfortable victory over this trip at Southwell last week and could take all the beating under a 6lb penalty if in the same form. Course-and-distance winner Insurplus was third over 6f here last time and can figure off the same rating now back up to what is his optimum trip, while Unapologetic appreciated the step up to this distance when second at Wolverhampton and may have plenty more to come at 7f and in the handicap ranks.

HERRINGSWELL is four from four over this course and distance and arrives in peak condition as she goes in search of a hat-trick. She made fairly light work of a 7lb rise when successful earlier this month and is only a further 3lb higher this time. Friendly Advice was a neck back in second on that occasion and has to be respected, while I Know How appears the pick of Julie Camacho's duo and was on the scoresheet here when last seen. Tracy Waggott also holds a strong hand with course-and-distance-winning pair Good Night Mr Tom and Ghathanfar, with the former carrying a 6lb penalty for a victory here last week.

Antony Brittain has a strong hand and his hat-trick seeking MUTABAAHY shades the verdict following a pair of fine victories over this trip at Wolverhampton. Harry Russell gets on well with the five-year-old and the rider's 5lb claim is a huge assistance. Stablemate Another Angel is a course-and-distance winner who has made the podium the last twice and has to be respected. Outrage is only 1lb higher than when beaten a neck by Boom The Groom at Lingfield and is another to take seriously here.
