LORD DEEVERT has not been beaten far on his latest outings in claiming company and, with less on his plate this afternoon, he could prove a cut above his rivals here. Pay Pay Pay faces her easiest task of late and should give a good account if the first-time visor works the oracle, while John O'Shea's filly, Magnol, is another worthy of consideration.

Sir Michael Stoute's charge, DOCTOR FREMANTLE, is well regarded by his shrewd handler and, after striking the crossbar on both starts to date, he is given the vote to lose his maiden tag. Etruscan finished second on his racecourse debut at Nottingham three weeks ago and rates the biggest threat for an in-form yard, while Manalito may prove best of the remainder.

It could pay to take a chance here on Roger Charlton's newcomer, ASIAN CLASSIC. This Montjeu colt cost 90,000 gns as a yearling and, with a Derby entry to his name, he is expected to make light work of beating his oppositon today. Fearless Warrior has shown glimpses of promise on his two starts to date and is likely to be thereabouts at the finish here, with Turn Left also holding place claims.

Eric Alston's JADAN appears to have been lit up by the fitting of blinkers and, after winning in gritty fashion at Ayr last time out, he could prove hard to beat on his bid to follow-up. El Potro won in workmanlike fashion around this C&D on his latest outing and is unlikely to go down without a fight here, while Dancing Mystery is another that warrants respect.

FILLIGREE made a promising debut effort when finishing third around here earlier this month and, with further improvement on the cards, she looks sure to play a leading role in this heat. Sir Michael Stoute's newcomer Lindelaan cost $500,000 as a two-year-old and holds obvious claims on her first outing in public, while Caprio is another that cannot be easily dismissed.

The in-form RED SOMERSET has been knocking on the door of late and, after getting beaten narrowly at Bath last week, he is tipped to go one better today. Central Force didn't appear to get home when finishing fourth at Lingfield on her latest outing on it would be no surprise to see her involved in the shake-up now dropped in trip. Apex looks best of the rest.

John Gosden's expensive purchase, TAZEEZ, shaped with a great deal of promise when finishing second on his racing bow around here earlier this month and, with improvement forthcoming, he could take all the beating this afternoon. Red Blossom has finished in the frame on her three latest outings and is likely to be in the firing line yet again, while African Pursuits is another for the short-list.

Past C&D winner GALA SUNDAY appears to get on particularly well with today's pilot and, after the pair recorded a comfortable success at Redcar last time out, they appear to hold the key in this tricky puzzle. Ours won gamely at Kempton on his latest outing and is likely to mount another bold bid this afternoon, while Singleb is also in with a squeak.
