SACHRISTINE (3) looks the best option in a competitive race. She won nicely at Fontainebleau last month and gets the verdict ahead of COVER POINT (2) who might fight it out for the runner-up position with KABRIOLE D'AINAY (5) with a slight preference for the former who was a decent second at Fontainebleau in a Class 3 hurdle in late November when last seen. TENDRE NUIT (1) also warrants respect.

VANGOSTYLE (2) is expected to follow up on his first try in this type of event after a game effort when winning at Angers at the end of November. His biggest rival could be FRAGA HAS (8) who has run well in the last two cross-country races he has competed in. IRIS COLOMBE (6) could be an each-way option as she could be nice odds. JAZZY DU MESTIVEL (10) is trying a cross-country race for the first time and merits consideration.

The marginal vote goes to PURPLE STAR (6) who got the job done when making a winning debut at Tarbes in October over 1500m. She has most to fear from THARPE (2) who has won and been second on both of his runs. The latest effort was over 1600m in a Class 2 race in mid-October at Bordeaux Le-Bouscat. CLOTH OF DREAM (3) and DENISJONH (1) could be the ones to fight it out for a place position.

JINGLE DENUO (5) is the tentative selection in a tricky handicap hurdle. The main threat is SWEET DAVID (3) who has enough weight to carry but has plenty of talent and will be fine on the switch back to hurdles today after a recent run over fences. LE GRAND JOUR (1) is one to include in all place bet permutations despite having top weight. JURY BLEU (10) needs to get back on track but is a capable performer at his best.

LOSANGE VERT BLEU (10) has a nice profile and could be the one to make a winning debut in a race for horses unraced over hurdles. KWELAFE (4) is from a trainer who likes to get one ready for a bold show on debut. His dam won on the flat and over hurdles and fences. KOL VERT (1) has the experience of having shown promise on the only run when second on the flat at Limoges 17 days ago. He can be involved along with GORVINEUR (9) who looks good on paper.

TROU NORMAND (3) has been competing in strong races on his last three runs. Down in grade today he can have a major say in proceedings. HYJIE (2) is another to consider closely. She won gamely at Auteuil when last seen in May, and will be well-tuned for this after an absence of 7 months. SAINT SIRE (4) is worth considering after a recent win 10 days ago over 3650m at Mont-De-Marsan. FREE LORD D'ANJOU (1) is capable if in the right frame of mind of being on the premises.

ANGE DE JUILLEY (3) ran well on his second run this year when he was second at Angers last month. He can score in this from his biggest rival HUPECA DE THAIX (10) who won two runs back at Auteuil in mid-October and was highly tried in a Listed hurdle last time at the same track. MIRALAGO (1) ran well over fences last time when fourth and won before that in a Class 2 hurdle race at Angers in November. HARRY CONTI (6) looks best of the remainder.

In an open handicap, it may pay to side with GRECIAN BONANZA (4) who is well drawn in stall 7 and has been running well all year. He can be excused for a below-par run last time at Deauville and he has run well at this track on the PSF when third on debut. SEGERA (11) has a nice racing weight and could pose the biggest threat. JONH SIX (1) likes the surface and track and can be involved off top weight. PAS RADINE (8) is also worth a mention.
