DAND NEE beat the useful Bleak House on his bumper debut over 1m5f at Doncaster in December 2005. He has run with credit in all his other starts in that sphere and could go close under this different code today. Our Monty has a couple of decent efforts to his credit, and was far from disgraced behind the English raider Souvenace at Killarney last time. Khatiman is another who has shown plenty of ability in bumpers and commands plenty of respect.

The nicely bred TARALAYA should hold too many guns for some modest looking rivals this afternoon. She showed her first real signs of ability when a 4l third behind Lucky Heroine at Wexford last time and a repeat of that effort should suffice. Winners Toast made a nice start to his career behind Mamlook at Wexford three weeks ago, and with improvement likely could be the only danger to the selection. It is hard to make a case for anything else.

Previous C&D winner LADY SHARP gets the vote in a race in which five of the thirteen runners are running from out of the handicap. She improved for her third run back this term when fourth behind Nizamar at Clonmel last week and gets the vote in a race that shouldn't take too much winning. Charlene finished second over C&D in April and a repeat of that effort would put her in the picture. Encrypt ran well at Wexford last week and there could be room for a little improvement.

FIRST SYMPHONY gets the vote in another modest looking affair. She was a decent second on her return but failed to build on that when only fourth last time, although a repeat of either effort could be good enough this afternoon. Guthega is a fairly expensive newcomer from a powerful stable and any market move for her should not be ignored. The well connected Daruliyya has shown little ability so far but should enjoy the step up in trip today.

ALEXANDER GOLDMINE has improved in each of her three races this term, winning the latest by a narrow margin at Roscommon earlier this month. She showed battling qualities on that occasion and can defy top weight on her handicap bow today. Emlach Star opened her account with a wide margin success at Downpatrick last time, but a 7lbs penalty for that success may tell this time. Status Academy has been well beaten in three runs so far but is of interest on his handicap debut this afternoon.

MONAHULLAN PRINCE had the in-form Jawad about one length behind in fifth spot when victorious at Wexford just over a week ago. Jawad has since reappeared, scoring at Ballinrobe three days later and in doing so finds himself 2lbs worse off with the selection. German winner Beliar was firmly put in his place by Souvenance at Wexford last time, but this is about his level and we could see him in the picture once again.

ROYAL APPROVAL won over C&D last June from today's mark and gets the vote to follow up. Although well beaten in fourth place on his reappearance, he is bound to strip fitter this time and looks certain to be involved in the shake-up. Recent hurdle winner Tyndall is clearly in good heart and has certainly been given a chance by the handicapper this afternoon, although he remains a maiden on the level. Nora Kelly won at Down Royal last September and could run into a place in this low key event.
