We are just waiting for some cut in the ground for Certain Lad. He is in great form and there is a race in France or the Doonside Cup at Ayr that we are looking at.

Chief Mankato won really well at Windsor and then nothing went right for him at York after he missed the break. We have him in the Ayr Gold Cup and some other nice sprints, and he is a lovely horse. Looking forward, he will be a nice sprinter to have around for the next few years.

Ferrous has had a great season so far and we might explore seven furlongs for him in something like the Duty Free Cup at Newbury in the middle of September. He is still a very good sprinter, and he will have some all-weather targets as well going into the winter.

He has had a very small set-back but is a lovely horse, and maybe one we can look forward to at the backend of the season or possibly heading into next year. He is another we can look forward to next year, but he wants soft ground and a mile and a quarter to a mile and a half.

Miss Attitude has obviously had a brilliant year, winning a Listed race at Deauville in August. She wants quick ground, and nothing went right for her on good to soft ground when she was caught on the wing at Naas the other weekend. She will be in all the five-furlong races, and it will depend on where or when we can get some ground for her, but she is in great form.

Urban Lion has had a great season so far, obviously running really well at Royal Ascot and in some other nice handicaps. He will be freshened up for the Cambridgeshire and have a crack at that.

He has had a very good year, but he is difficult to place as the handicapper put him up 16lb for winning a poor handicap on the All-Weather. He is now rated 101, so my hands are really tied, but we will put him in the Ayr Gold Cup, while there is also a Listed race at York next weekend, so we can have a look at as well.

He is a really good sprinter, but unfortunately he charged the stalls at Newbury and was eventually beaten three quarters of a length, and he came back sore. He may have one more run before the end of the year, but he could be very smart next season.

She was given a break after the Guineas as she had a really busy spring. She has just taken a little while to come back to herself, but she was in great form and probably didn’t handle the ground at Sandown on Saturday.

He is a horse that again needs cut in the ground, and the one time he got it he won at Carlisle. When he gets some cut in the ground he will be winning again, and he’ll be a nice horse for next year.

He is a nice gelding, and we found him a nice race for him to win at Brighton the other day. He is only rated 74, and I think there is plenty of juice in that mark.

He’s a lovely horse who was late to start his career but won really well last time. He now has a mark of 84, which is slightly steep, but we will see what he can do. He will have one or two more runs, and he will be a lovely mile-and-a-quarter horse to go to war with next year.

She has been a revelation this year, obviously winning five times, and she has been beaten under a length in two other races, and I think she will make a brilliant juvenile hurdler. Lots of people have been trying to buy her.

She is a very good filly, and I have always loved her. The ground went very loose for her at Sandown and she slipped, but William (Buick) looked after her. She was back to her best at Goodwood though, and there is a fillies’ race for her at Ayr in a few weeks’ time.

He is a bit special, but I don’t know where we will go now. He is a horse that doesn’t want it really soft, but he is a very good horse. We will see what the handicapper does and go from there.

He is a horse that I feel I’ve slightly mis-campaigned. He is ultra-talented, and I probably should have waited a couple of months to run him. We will look for another race for him, either a nursery or a novice, and I honestly think he is a lot better than we have seen. He will probably be better as a gelding and waiting for next year.

She is a very good filly but had no luck in the Princess Margaret or the Prestige. It was a horrific race, where she was spat out the back and did well to finish fourth. She could go for the Listed Radley Stakes next and is well up to winning Graded races.
