Riviere wasn't disgraced in a Goodwood seller last time and has an outside chance, while any market support for her stablemate Rosie's Return could well be worth noting. However, on ratings and all known form, this looks between Black Hill Storm and RUSSELLINTHEBUSHES. The former does have a win on his CV and demands respect, but Tom Dascombe's charge is rated 2lb higher and receives 3lb off her main rival, so she rates the one to beat.

Winterwatch has shaped encouragingly on both starts to date and will likely show up well again, but SARROOD could prove tough to beat for Charles Hills and Paul Hanagan. He brings the strongest form to the table and may well improve further for stepping up from 1m2f. Alsithee looks a fair bit better than stablemate Neverwrongforlong at this stage and he could take third.

VANITAS gamely got the better of a gambled-on favourite over this trip at Pontefract recently and a 6lb penalty might not be enough to anchor her if arriving in the same mood. Tequila Royale won her maiden over C&D in May and warrants plenty of respect stepping into handicap company for the first time off a mark of 67, while Naughty Ana could also land a blow.

CASHEW is turned out quickly having won on nursery debut at Haydock on Saturday and George Boughey's filly is taken to handle the 6lb penalty and the extra furlong. Highland Premiere got off the mark at Hamilton on his latest start and the step up in trip is likely to see him improve again, while Lethal Levi, also a winner at Hamilton when last seen, is expected to be competitive.

WISE EAGLE has been in excellent form throughout 2021, bar a rare blip at York in May, and shaped when runner-up at Ayr last time as though the return to 2m would bring about further progression. Let Me Be was just denied when attempting to land the hat-trick at Musselburgh last month and has to enter the reckoning along with Bollin Neil, who has won twice at the course this season.

ACQUISITOR relished the step up to 7f when scoring at the course last month and Phil Kirby's gelding is taken to handle a 4lb rise from the handicapper with the potential for more to come at the trip. Grey Sparkle should come on for her recent seasonal debut and can take closer order here, while others capable of being in the mix include Tommytwohoots and Harry Haafhd.

MOTAWAAZY won over C&D three starts back and has held his form well since, finishing runner-up at Ayr and Beverley. He has improved plenty since joining this yard and remains well treated off 55. My Thought is a big danger, though, because he improved for going back up to this trip at Thirsk last time and a 5lb penalty for that success is unlikely to prevent another bold showing. Desert Dream must also be taken seriously.

Division two of this handicap can go the way of LANGHOLM. The son of Dark Angel justified strong market support when scoring at Carlisle two starts back and, although he disappointed favourite backers, his run in defeat at Hamilton last time was a creditable one under a penalty. He is clearly on good terms with himself and makes more appeal than C&D second Feel The Thunder and Lofty, who is beginning to look well handicapped off 56.
