JAZZ JENILOU (12) is thriving at present and looks capable of landing a four-timer, though this represents a stiffer test. JOUR ET NUIT (13) is particularly effective when racing without hind shoes and, with Eric Raffin in the sulky, rates a serious danger. JAVOTTE MADRIK (15) boasts an unbeaten record at this venue and demands respect, while JUEN EMONDEVILLE (16) is on the upgrade and could also be competitive.

KAVALO BELLO (5) looks poised to return to winning ways sooner rather than later and makes plenty of appeal. KAMTCHATKA (8) hasn't been favoured by the draw behind the autostart but still has the ability to get involved. KORSIKO (6) should strip fitter from his recent comeback and could show improvement. KYMI JACK (12) impressed when scoring at Angers and is another to consider prominently in a competitive contest.

JACK DES ASS (13) was far more impressive than the bare margin implies when scoring at Vire and sets the standard once again. IDEAL BOY (15) has an excellent record at this venue, with two wins and a third from three starts, and rates the main threat. JERENAL D'HAMELINE (12) is admirably consistent and should be thereabouts, while JOKER GEMA (8) is worth another chance and could bounce back into contention.

L'ETOILE D'ETE (10) bids to maintain her unbeaten record with Alexis Bescher and sets a solid standard, though this looks no straightforward task. LATINO DU LUPIN (8) ran well on his return and is entitled to come on for that outing, while LIVERPOOL DU TAY (7) is heading the right way and should be competitive from the front line. LASSIE DE MALABRY (1) goes barefoot on her comeback and is worth considering as well.

5

18:00 Chateaubriant (France) (4YO only)

An open looking race. MILORD DU LUPIN (4) shaped well on his return and now goes unshod for the first time, which could unlock further improvement. MY NAME IS FLASH (6) is best forgiven a recent effort and is well worth another chance, while MAHATMA DANICA (8) has the ability to feature if reproducing his best form. MATELOT KERYANN (5) is admirably consistent and, although tackling the sand surface for the first time, still commands respect.

6

18:30 Chateaubriant (France) (4YO only)

A very open looking race. MUSE DU VALLON (7) catches the eye with Eric Raffin booked and is expected to go well. Good improvement should be forthcoming. MAYA DE LA NOE (12) has the ability if in the right frame of mind, while MILOTTE DU HOULBET (8) arrives in top form and should be competitive once more. MONA VILI (1) is best given another chance and could easily bounce back into contention if at her best.

7

19:00 Chateaubriant (France) (3YO only)

Prix Loic Beauland - Attele

A very interesting lucky last race. NORTH RIM (6) shaped with plenty of promise when second to a useful type on debut at Meslay-du-Maine and sets a solid standard here. NARVIK DU BESSIN (5) made an impressive winning start at Alencon and is open to further progress, while NOT ALLOWED (8) had excuses when last seen at Caen and is worth another chance. NIRVANA GRIFF (1) is a reliable sort who should be involved in the finish once again.
