Stormy Belle looks sure to pick up a race of this nature following back-to-back second-place finishes but she could be vulnerable with MACK ATTACK in the field. The son of Mayson was last seen finishing fifth a Listed race at Fairyhouse 11 days ago and a repeat of that effort today would give him a leading chance. Comhghairdeas is another worthy of the utmost respect.

SALTONSTALL made a highly-encouraging debut when second at Naas a couple of weeks ago and this son of Pivotal is fully entitled to improve for that experience. Massif Central has shown more than enough ability in both of his starts to date to suggest that he can pick up a race before too long, while Family Crest and Pennsylvania give Aidan O'Brien a strong hand in this event.

Stenographer sets the standard having been highly tried since his debut win earlier in the year. That said, BLACK HAWK WAR and Sharliyna look to have bright futures ahead of them following impressive displays on their racecourse debuts. The former gets the nod marginally today because his performance here on Monday was outstanding and he may be able to outclass his rivals once again.

COUNT OF CARABASS has been raised 8lb for scoring a shade cosily over track and trip last week and is expected to give another good account. William Ashford chased the selection home that day and is considered the principal threat again. Others worthy of consideration are consistent C&D winner Hatton Cross and the unexposed Ti Amo, the latter of whom is fitted with a first-time tongue-tie on her handicap bow.

DUCK EGG BLUE was touched off by a head over this trip at Naas last time out and wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to gain compensation. Sea Haar (third), Future Frontier and (fourth) finished behind the selection last time and have place claims. A bigger danger, however, may be Bouquet Garni, who was placed in a 6f Naas claimer last month and could improve for this stiffer test.

ROUND TWO has not hit the heights once expected of him, given he was a Listed-winning juvenile who was sent off favourite for the Coventry at Royal Ascot, but there has been some promise in some of his starts this year. The handicapper has also given him a chance by dropping the son of Teofilo to a mark of 94. The consistent The Moore Factor looks sure to be on the premises once again, while Balcony is another to feature high up on the shortlist.

A contest where very few of these have any sort of claims but preference goes to FLY ROUND THE BEND who was comprehensively beaten on her last start at Killarney but was dropped 7lb for that effort and a return to a shorter distance can only be a positive to her chances. Lizard Point improved for the step up in distance last time and has to go close, while Nicotina is entitled to improve for the step up in distance.

AA BEE SEE improved for the step back up in distance on his most recent outing at Sligo when staying on well over an extended 1m4f to win comfortably and a 4lb rise in the weights shouldn't be enough to stop the son of Holy Roman Emperor from doubling up. High Expectations stayed on strongly at the Curragh and will benefit from the extra furlong here, while Fast On is a player if improving for the step up in distance.
