Winner of seven of his 41 starts and currently rated 68. At his best in the early part of last season when beating Opal Storm half a length on his reappearance at Doncaster (5f) off a mark of 68 and also successful at Catterick (6f) in May when getting home by a neck from Arecibo off a mark of 71.

Trainer says

We got him back on track last year. He's been a fun old servant, but, in fairness, he's probably not quite as good as he was. The veteran sprint handicaps will be his aim as they're quite fun for a horse like him and he won one last year and he sort of pays his way. He likes good ground or quicker, and we obviously had a dry spring last year so that helped.

Tough mare who ran well on several occasions - only beaten a length and three quarters when fifth to Ascending in the Ascot Stakes Handicap at Ascot in June off a mark of 99. Gained reward when heavily-odds on for a conditions event at Pontefract (2m 2f) in October when beating Wahraan 16 lengths.

Trainer says

Absolute legend, I would think she’ll have a similar looking program to last year, and she can alternate between early season sort of black type races/ valuable handicaps. I suppose the one thing I think we're going to change this year is she's obviously run well twice in the Ascot Stakes but I think we'll have a crack at the conditions race, the Queen Alexandra Stakes. We know she stays very well and I think that'll suit her well.

Trainer says

He is meant to be going to Dubai. Yes, it's very much day by day that, but we've got to make a decision quite quickly. If he doesn't, he might have a prep run at Doncaster before heading to Hong Kong at the end of April. He’ll then come back and we will sort out a programme for him but the Queen Anne would obviously be on the agenda again. The Queen Anne was an amazing day and if we can do it again that would be great. There are lots of races for him, like the Prix Jacques le Marois, on a straight track. We probably will have to have a chat closer to the time but Goodwood doesn't really seem suit him. It's sort of very tactical and the Sussex Stakes might be the only race that we might miss this year but we'll have to see how it is shaping at the time.

Winner of one of her 11 starts and currently rated 60. Off the mark on her reappearance in a handicap at Leicester (1m 2f) last April when beating Douglas Dc three and a half lengths off a mark of 57.

Trainer says

She obviously started off well last year. I got it completely wrong regarding ground all year. I thought she wanted quick ground and I'm not sure she did. So, we're obviously hoping for a wet spring with her and she won like she was well handicapped the start of last year. Let’s hope she is still capable off her mark.

Completed a hat trick when beating Shiplake a length and a quarter at Epsom (6f) in July off a mark of 73 and went onto to add to that when scoring by three quarters of a length from Stenmark in a handicap at Epsom (7f) in September off a mark of 78.

Trainer says

I never felt he put it all together last year and yet he was still winning. I hope that, you know, a year older, he's matured a bit, and, and if he can race more professionally, hopefully, there's a bit more to come from him. He looks to have strengthened up from three to four.

Got off the mark on his reappearance as a three-year-old when scoring by six and a half lengths from Frankini in a maiden at Newcastle (7f) last March. Finished a creditable fourth, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Cosmic Year in the Listed King Charles II Stakes at Newmarket in May and then failed by only a neck when runner-up to Arabian Story in the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot (1m) off a mark of 99. Most promising return in the Lincoln Trial Handicap at Wolverhampton (1m 1/2f) this month when fourth, beaten two lengths, to The Lost King off his current mark.

Trainer says

He had a long time off the track and we were just keen to get him back to the races in the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton. He'll go to the Lincoln and I would hope that's the last time he runs in handicap company but we'll get Donny out the way first. He galloped on Wednesday morning but really the race has done the work for us. I think he has come forward for that run but it was just mentally as much as anything we wanted to get him to the races. As I said, it'd been such a long time off the track and he was a bit jarred up post-Ascot after running on the quick ground. Potentially, he was going to get on a plane down to Oz but. we've obviously changed that plan now and we have got him back going earlier this season.

He is another one like Kisskodi who was very progressive last year. He likes quick ground and he looks to have done well from three to four as well. He has gone up quite a bit I hope there's another or two handicaps in him.

He is a character alright but he's been a great servant for us. He did particularly well when winning a valuable handicap at Newbury but he blotted his copybook big time on his last start. We just need to feel our way with him and see where we're at with him.

She was bought out of Ireland and has run once and won once. She is a likeable filly and we're just feeling our way with her at the moment. I would hope she'll be a bit of fun in some of those fillies’ handicaps through the Summer.

Principality is a nice fun horse. Never really got his conditions other than the once at Goodwood and he's clearly very effective an extreme of ground. He is in the Lincoln but I don’t think he will get it but he’d be a bit of sport in the consolation race if it came up wet.

I thought Sea of Kings did very well last year. We chucked him in the deep end a bit and he always had the build, the physical and mental side of him, that he was going to improve as a four-year-old. So, I hope that’s the case and he is not far from starting off. We might start off in a novice or a maiden if we can find one and I hope he is going to be a fun progressive handicapper this year. He’s only going to keep on improving.

Trainer says

She was supposed to go to Dubai but we have pulled the plug on that for various reasons. We haven’t had a flawless run in with her but more so the owners just felt they wouldn’t go and if they weren’t going then they didn’t want her to go. She’ll probably start off in the Abernant where she doesn’t carry a penalty for her Ascot win. I think the track at Newmarket will suit and she will obviously contest quite a lot of the big sprint races. That programme sort of writes itself for you and she could easily have got quicker as she has got older and whether it’s the King Charles III on the Tuesday at Royal Ascot or the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes on the Saturday we will see.

He was sort of bred to be a hurdler but he ran very well on the Flat at Kempton last month. He shapes like he will win some staying handicaps this year and he should be winning sooner rather than later.

He is lightly raced and wants soft ground which we didn’t get nearly enough of last year. By the time it came I think he sort of went a bit over the top. He’s had a good break and looks to have done very well. I’d hope he can be a fun handicapper who can work his way through the grades but he does need some juice in the ground.

She's been a little bit frustrating and she should have won by now, really. That's my fault, but she's going to be a fun sprint handicapper, particularly sort of fillies’ sprint handicaps. It’s great to have her owner Abdulla Al Khalifa in the yard as he’s a top man and when I worked for William Haggas he had a good horse Skardu in the yard so it's lovely to have a horse for him.

He’s obviously a horse we think a bit of and he's sort of got the build and the pedigree to back it up. He's training well and he'll probably start of his season in a miler quarter race at Nottingham for horses that haven't run more than twice. He'll run in something like that and go from there.

We bought him out of Ireland and he ran very well on his only start for us at Brighton but picked up a little niggle after that run. His owner has been very patient and I hope he could be a fun handicapper.

He’s a horse we liked at the start of his two-year-old career but he just never stopped growing and being very immature. We’ve been patient with him and he’s beginning to pull himself together now. He’s still a bit of a project and we won’t push him too much this year but he could be quite fun gelding. I think he probably wants seven furlongs to a mile and he might even get quicker in time.

Debrief ran once as a two-year-old but the rain got into the ground that day and he probably didn't run as well as we were hoping. He's a good-looking horse and could be quite fun for Giacomo Algranti when we get on good Summer ground.

Flash Kozo is another one who's done well for the winter. He always shaped and had the build like he wanted to go a mile and a quarter. He runs this Saturday in a novice at Southwell and then he'll go handicapping. He should be capable of picking up a couple of handicaps.

He is a homebred of the Smith’s who has done very well over the winter. He showed a bit of ability last year but we just sort of ran out of time with him really. He's done a few sort of half speeds and he shapes like he's okay and could win a restricted maiden. We will have to sort of see where we go from there - it's early days for him.

He's a horse we like. He's picked up a little bit of an injury at the start of this season so he's on hold at the moment, but the Autumn ground in the second half of the season will suit him well. I would think he'll start at a mile.

Menzies has been given a rating of 81 this morning and it is time for him to go up in trip. I'm not sure the all-weather has shown it to him at his best either. I need to have a chat with Terry Henderson whether we go into a handicap and I sort of half thought about the Epsom Derby Trial for him. He's got a bit of pace and he jumps and he's a strong traveller and it wouldn't be outside of possibilities that he could sort of shape competitively in a race like that.

He's a good-looking horse with a nice pedigree and won his maiden. We'll see what he can do under a penalty. It's always, it always seems very tough under a penalty though, but I’d hope he could make into not a bad three-year-old handicapper. He's owned by Keith Lie - he's got two with us and both are okay. One of them will be Hong Kong bound - we'll just find out which one the best one is and then send them over there.

Outback Heat provided us with a pleasant surprise when winning first time out. It is unusual for one of ours to win first time and he's quite a big raw horse still, so we'll space his races out this year. His next start will be on the grass and we'll see how competitive he is under a penalty and see what the handicapper makes of him and go from there. He clearly has a degree of ability. We haven't really worked out where he finishes yet. We'll let the racehorse decide that, I suppose.

She's done well and I thought she ran a bit better than the bare result suggested in the Spring Cup at Lingfield on only her third ever start. To jump into a Listed race from a maiden is tough. She'll have another shot at a black type race and we'll either keep her at seven furlongs on the grass if the ground's good at Newbury but there is also a three-year-old fillies’ race over six furlongs at Chelmsford. We'd be back a furlong, but she's getting more professional and I don't know how strong that would be compared to the Fred Darling, which you suspect would be quite tough.

As you know a lot of my two-year-olds will take a bit of time but Greek Street Is a likeable colt who has done a few bits of work. He might have his first run over five furlongs but I think he'll be better at six. I just like his attitude and he looks a horse we could have some fun with in the first half of the season.

He is our first horse for Simon Munir and Isaac Souede and I don't know if he'll start over five but he could be starting in some of the early six furlong races. He’s just a good-looking colt with a bit of size that seems to be taking it well at the moment and has a good temperament.

She is sort of similar to Green Sovereign. Great attitude, working sort of well enough and shapes like six furlongs would be preferable to five. She looks very tough, and, and I'd hope she can be some fun for Shadwell all season.
