Verdict

With five consecutive victories to his name, Al Najashi has proved a revelation since entering handicaps at Southwell in January. Although the son of Territories has yet to score on turf, there isn't any reason to believe that he won't go well again. That said, a 9lb higher mark does demand another career best from Ollie Sangster's colt and preference is for the unexposed HASBRO MARKET, who offered plenty of encouragement on his second-placed seasonal/handicap bow at Wetherby last month. Thirsk winner Inishbeg is also worth a second look.

Expert View Verdict

AL NAJASHI can extended his winning run. He enjoyed a productive winter on the AW winning 5 times including on Finals Day where he took a hot contest which has already been boosted. He overcame trouble that day so a 9lb rise may well underestimate him and the quicker surface will suit on just his second turf start. Luansobe benefitted from a drop in class when making a winning reappearance and is expected to progress now handicapping back on turf. He can chase the selection home ahead of bottom weight Startled who has won 2 of his last 3 and relished the step up to 7f last time.
