His wet form is superior (thus far) but the blinkers are on first time and he should be right in it with a good ride. OLD FASHIONED (1) is up to this but can be tricky in the barriers. Draws low and can make quick improvement jumping with them. PRELIMINAIRES (2) is also third-up back in grade. May fill the first-four at a price.

BELLINGER (3) was back to his best winning the 58 and then was wide and just okay at this level. Has a low gate today and the blinkers applied again and should be ready to find her best figures. VIA CAPO (2) was just beaten first-up and hasn't missed a beat. Draws for a soft run and has the handy 2kg claim. Fitter he will go close. SHADOW HAWK (8) is also up to this and will be better for the first-up run at Sandown. The colt won his only second-up outing and has plenty of scope for improvement. KERMY (1) resumes and is quick. He will have come on and has shown enough to consider.
