Verdict
Always A Reason displayed a willing attitude when holding on to complete a double at Catterick and demands respect given his unbeaten record over fences. A 6lb higher mark shouldn't prevent him from giving another good account, but STICK WITH ME SAM may prove to be slightly better treated. Tom Gretton's charge has impressed in all three victories of late and a four-timer is a distinct possibility. The Grafter is the pick of the remainder.
Expert View Verdict
THE GRAFTER easily dispatched Spadestep here on chase debut and is fancied to confirm the form here. An 8lb rise looks more than manageable and his hurdles form suggests he'll have more to offer on this quicker surface. His re-opposing rival has shown a consistent level of form since the switch to fences and should play a part once again but his finishing efforts have been a concern. Ballyedward may ideally want further than this in time but he looks well treated on his debut effort and could stay on to complete the tricast.
