STAY IN THE GAME could be the answer in the opener. He made virtually all in a match at Huntingdon before proving that was no fluke when going really close here last week and, turned out quickly, he's clearly come out of that race in good nick. A similar performance may well suffice and he gets the nod ahead of Bobby Socks and Character Testing.

OBSESSEDWITHYOU doesn't know how to run badly and has turned into a bit of a winning machine over fences. A two-time winner over hurdles, Jamie Snowden's mare is really well treated in this company on these terms and is going to take some stopping reverting to timber. Nobotheratall won well at Kelso and is the clear pick of the remainder, ahead of All About Moi.

GHASHAM can gain the success his recent form deserves. Runner-up on both starts since switching to fences, he's clearly enjoying this new discipline and the son of Churchill is going to break through over the larger obstacles sooner rather than later. Chicago Storm warmed up for this chasing return with a third-placed effort over hurdles at Stratford and is noted along with Divas Doyen.

It's hard to ignore the claims of PASSING DIAMOND, who makes his handicap bow after completing a double in maiden/novice company over track and trip last month. An opening mark of 106 might prove to be lenient and he could take full advantage. Perseus Way had Sunset Hill (second) and Johnson's Blue (third) behind when victorious over C&D prior to winning on the Flat at Hamilton and he is expected to confirm that form.

Supreme Yeats won by half a length to complete a double at Newton Abbot and should go well for the in-form Dan Skelton team, but CAMPAIGN TRAIL gets the vote. The six-year-old accounted for his nearest rival by six lengths in this grade at Hereford last month and a 6lb rise might underestimate the level of authority he showed that day. Lets Mingle completes the shortlist.

Killybegs Jet Lady was an emphatic winner at Kelso and is entitled to respect, but the strength of that form does have to be questioned given that two of her rivals unseated early on. With that in mind, it looks best to side with PASSENGERONTHESHIP, who has really turned a corner of late. Sam England's charge arrives having notched up a brace of course wins and is expected to go close from 4lb higher. A Year Older completes the shortlist.

Not a particularly strong standard set by those with experience under Rules, which could allow Dan Skelton to continue his fine run of form. His representative LOMAN LADY gave the impression she possessed some ability when second in her most recent point-to-point and wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning racecourse bow. Getaway Tobin and Author Dora are others to consider.
