A clear round of jumping should be enough for CINATING to win. She has three fair runs in bumpers to her name and looked to be going well enough when falling at the second-last hurdle when leading at Ballinrobe two weeks ago. Dont Break My Word, a 300/1 chance on the day, took fourth place in that same race and could well reach the frame but she might not pose the same threat as Ritz Plan, who gained valuable experience in three academy hurdles late last year. Mike Des Mottes was only a neck behind Cinating when fourth on his bumper debut at Leopardstown in early March but he couldn't build on that promising effort when well beaten at Killarney last time.

Watch out for: Ritz Plan (13)

Not much of a race and it can go to CINATING, who was still in front and going okay when falling two out at Ballinrobe on her hurdles debut two weeks ago. Provided she's okay after that spill, she's taken to gain compensation tried in a hood. Tex Amare, placed on the Flat in Germany, brings some potential now hurdling for her new yard and she too goes in a hood first time. Ritz Plan is another to consider back from 175 days off having proven consistent previously.

CHANCEAWETMORNING has certainly found his form of late and can get back to winning ways. He landed back-to-back handicap hurdles at Kilbeggan and Clonmel on his first starts for Gordon Elliott and wasn't all that far off completing a hat-trick of wins when third under a big weight at Listowel nine days ago. Polepatrick was off the track for 13 months before taking third spot in a maiden hurdle at Clonmel in March and he backed that up when a winner at Tramore. The four-year-old Berto Ramirez won his maiden hurdle at Down Royal in early May and went well again in a similar race to this at Wexford last time.

Watch out for: Polepatrick (2)

Berto Ramirez is flattered by his Listed fourth, when ridden to pick up the pieces, and has more to fnd judged on subsequent efforts. Chanceawetmorning is in fine form and ran well upped to 3m last time. The drop in trip isn't an issue but he may find the promising POLEPATRICK too strong. The selection was off the mark with plenty in hand last time, despite racing keenly, and provided he settles up to 2m4f now, then he rates the likely winner.

SIMPLE THINGS is the only four-year-old in the line-up and arrives here on the back of two very promising efforts. On her second start in a handicap hurdle, she chased home odds-on favourite Fiver Friday at Bellewstown and went closer again when runner-up over this distance at Wexford in the middle of last month. She's the bottom-weight here and could now get her head in front at the main expense of those at the opposite end of the handicap. Stede Bonnet might have finished a little closer in the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival but for being hampered at the final hurdle and he can't be ignored, while Avalo goes back up in trip after his success at the Punchestown Festival.

Watch out for: Stede Bonnet (1)

Stede Bonnet is a major player here down in grade - he struggled in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham - with him having looked progressive previously. At the opposite end of the weights it's SIMPLE THINGS who is the selection, though. The 4yo filly ran to form upped to 2m4f last time and looks to have more to offer while she's receiving 25lb from the top one. Billy Lee Swagger, a winner at Ballinrobe last time, has more on from his new mark but can go well again.

WORKAHEAD was a very good winner on his chasing debut at Wexford and should follow up. He really asserted from the second-last fence that day and went clear to win in fine style from previous beginners' chase winners Supersundae and Wild Bill Hickok. The latter is again in opposition today, but has a mountain to climb to turn the form around. Scalpnagoon was no match for all-the-way winner Net Boy at Ballinrobe but he's likely to reach the frame again, while Talk In The Park has no shortage of experience over fences but is in action here for the first time since January.

Watch out for: Wild Bill Hickok (8)

This should prove straightforward for the very classy WORKAHEAD. Graded-placed over hurdles, it was no surprise to see him look an even better chaser when scoring in style at Wexford three weeks ago, jumping well and bouncing off the sound surface. He handles some cut and it would be no surprise to see him winning at Graded level as a chaser in the summer/early autumn. Scalpnagoon is a consistent sort and can follow the selection home, with Wild Bill Hickok best of the rest but looking an unlikely winner.

HARBOUR HIGHWAY comes into this in good form and has a nice racing weight. Successful at Leopardstown in March, he has done little wrong on his last two starts and was strong at the finish over a similar trip to this at Limerick last time. If first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect, Emmet Mullins' seven-year-old can land the prize. Enda Bolger has won two of the last three renewals and is represented by progressive Killarney National winner Pride Of Place, who gives owner J.P McManus a strong hand. Born Bright won two handicap chases last summer and, after a winter break, had a nice prep run for this over hurdles last month.

Top Tip: Harbour Highway (16)
Watch out for: Pride Of Place (3)

This is really competitive. Pride Of Place represents last year's winning stable and he has a good run in him, while Rocky's Howya strikes as the sort with more to offer now back chasing. He's been hurdling since winning over fences at Limerick in March. The selection is KINGS HILL, who has got his act together chasing of late, winning at Limerick and then running well in defeat in a Listed handicap last time. He still looks on a nice mark judged on his hurdles form. Rocky's Diamond hasn't fulfilled his potential but he can still go well despite top weight.

SPANISH MAID gets in off bottom-weight and can complete a mixed hat-trick. A hurdles winner at Punchestown last time, she had previously scored over fences at Tramore and is still very much at the right end of the handicap. Only a five-year-old, L'amiral Fromentin was third to the selection at Tramore and again ran well when filling the same position at Limerick last month. Piccolo Player has been in decent form over hurdles and is one to note on his chasing debut, while, by contrast, three-time course winner Presenting Lad is fully exposed but comes here on the back of a good placed effort on his second run after a winter break.

Watch out for: L'amiral Fromentin (11)

Chosen Shant returned to form back hurdling last time and needs considering here if building on it back chasing. STRUCK OIL brings plenty of potential, though, having shaped well on his chasing debut at Downpatrick. He seems sure to improve for that experience and is still open to improvement after just eight starts as a 5yo. Soldante has proven consistent over fences and rates a danger too with the possibility of more to come.

JOUSTER seems to be gradually returning to form and the addition of blinkers might help him to get his head back in front. He was a back-to-back winner in late 2024, including in a chase at Tramore, and finished a creditable third at that track last time. The Rebel County finished just behind the selection at Tramore and the Harzand gelding, a hunter chase winner last summer, is less exposed than many of his rivals. Four-time chase winner Stormy Master ran well on his first start of the year at Limerick, while Ballingurteen was second to a useful mare in a point-to-point and now switches to fences having been placed in her last two hurdle outings.

Chasing newcomer Ballingurteen needs respecting off what is a fair mark and she has some pointing experience to call on. She could easily make a winning debut over fences but we'll side with REVOLUT NED instead. The selection finished an improved third in a Tramore handicap last time and has a chance if building on that. Others to consider include recent point winner Annie Questions and Ta Se Rua, placed in a hunter chase most recently.
