Jim Boyle's representative showed improved form when switched to this surface, grabbing second over C&D latest (albeit finishing well-held) and could build upon that effort with Ryan Moore a notable booking for the yard. Hey Fiddle Fiddle is respected at the weights and could improve for the fitting of first-time blinkers while David Barron's newcomer Magilini cannot be ruled out either in a moderate affair.
Hey Fiddle Fiddle and Look At Me Now are closely matched on form, but newcomer Magilini wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to go in at the first time of asking.

Mr Red Clubs has shown versatility regarding trip and has landed sellers over both 7f and the extended 1m on his last two runs at this venue. Nevertheless, now stepping back into handicap company, a career-best is needed from Tim Pitt's charge and marginal preference is for NOT BAD FOR A BOY. The Richard Hannon inmate landed a novices' contest over this trip at Lingfield last time and looks capable of making his presence felt off his revised rating. Chelsea Mick found his stamina stretched here last time but, reverting back to his optimum trip, can also go well.
Kempton maiden winner Fortrose Academy shaped as if this longer trip would suit when beaten in a nursery there since. He just gets the nod ahead of Not Bad For A Boy and Stag Hill, both of whom are in form but more exposed than the selection.

The money was down for Ezra Church in a Lingfield seller last time and another bold bid looks in the offing. One Way Or Another and Bawaardi are two others respected at this level and are capable of making their presence felt. However, with Luke Morris riding better than ever on the all-weather at present, FAITHFUL RULER gets the vote. Ron Harris' charge landed a similar contest here last month (One Way Or Another back in second) and looks well-treated by the framing of the weights. Stevie Gee wouldn't be winning out of turn and is another to consider.
Kingswinford is the one to beat at the weights but needs to shrug off a couple of disappointing runs and preference is for Bawaardi who should have come on for his first run in 2 months last time. One Way Or Another is well capable at this level and is another to consider.

Also proven over this longer trip, a bold bid looks in the offing as he bids for a hat-trick. Chosen Forever always commands respect around these parts and can battle it out for the minor money with Fakhuur, who broke her maiden on Fibresand earlier in the month. The booking of Ryan Moore looks a positive, as does the handicapper's moderate (4lb) rise for her recent Southwell success.
Gritstone boasts an unbeaten record at this track and although he is up in the weights, he is taken to complete his hat-trick. Fakhuur and Snow Dancer may give him most to think about.

Tornado Force is expected to be all the rage in the betting ring after his success over this trip at Lingfield earlier this month but preference is for WOOP WOOP. The Midlands-based handler, Ian Williams, appears to be getting a real tune out of the Oratorio filly and, partnered with the talented 5lb claimer Ryan Powell, she is taken to go very close again off this 1lb lower mark. Kames Park is another for the shortlist.
Tornado Force appeared to win with more in hand than the bare margin suggests at Lingfield last time and is fancied to follow-up. Woop Woop and Boa may give him most to do.

Jeremy Noseda's Kentucky Derby hope, HARVARD N YALE, makes the trip north for his preparation and looks the one to side with in this three-runner novices stakes. The Smart Strike colt also boasts entries in the 2012 Irish 2,000 Guineas and Derby and, if up to landing such prizes, he should have the beating of these. Prince Alzain has won over the C&D and looks the main threat to Ryan Moore's mount but Dr Albert may have to settle for a supporting role.
There's not much between Harvard N Yale and Prince Alzain, but the former is marginally preferred on account of his likely tactical advantage.
