Richard and Peter Fahey are the latest father-and-son combination to take out a joint-licence and the indicators so far this season suggest that influx of a young head coupled with vast experience is a knockout blow.
The pair shared the licence from March and 22 winners have already flown under the bridge and there are a few lofty targets at the Royal Ascot, live on Sky Sports Racing, in mind too.
Powerful Glorycaused a 200-1 shock when collaring Lazzat close home in the British Champions Sprint at Ascot last Autumn and he returns to the Royal plains for the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes after a satisfactory return in the Greenland Stakes at the Curragh.
The pair could also have a very live contender in either the Queen Mary or the Albany in the shape of Hilary Needler winner Crystal Queen and there could well be further additions for the big meeting.
The Fahey team appear to have hit the familiar previous pattern of former years when having winners every other day and look set for a very healthy season indeed.
Peter kindly talked to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about their main hopes for the huge weeks ahead.
