Chantilly - Tuesday 19th May 2026
CENTRAL PARK WEST (2) comes alive at this racecourse and he can get back in the winner's enclosure from a good draw in stall 1. SIYOUKING (5) has been consistent recently and has solid form on the artificial surfaces. He has previous placed form at this track and can make life difficult for his rivals. ZELZARI (1) is seeking a hat-trick and was a recent winner over this track and trip late in April. He can be involved at the business end, as can SAUCEPOT (7), who makes her handicap debut and has more to come. DOUBLE UP (10) is another to consider each-way despite recent form figures.
SCAPIN (1) ran with plenty of promise at Deauville when he was second over 1000m last month. He can improve for the step up in trip today and Christophe Soumillon is keen to retain the partnership. He could have the biggest threat from the unraced SOUFINA (8), who is from a leading trainer that has his horses in top form. She has a speedy pedigree as does HINATA GREY (9), both fillies are by the classy Blue Point. PIPPEN (4) can make progress from his pleasing debut and heads the rest.
ANOTHERMINE (10) has won on this surface before at Deauville and was a creditable third three runs back over 1600m at this track in a Class 3 handicap in February. She is the tentative selection over BLU METAL JACKET (5), who was a decent second at Salon Provence on his latest start in mid-April. QUIET WIFE (7) is a previous winner on the PSF and ran well at Pau two runs back when fourth. She can have a say, as can KING THISTLE (2), who completes the shortlist.
ZAYIDA (1) won by a cosy three lengths over this track and trip in a Class 2 race late last month, and was a creditable fourth before that in a Group 3 race at Parislongchamp on April 5th. She can score at the expense of LETHAL BEAUTY (6), who was in second in the Group 3 race and can make life difficult for the selection. VALZEINA (4) won in Germany and was third in a Group 3 race last time and is another to keep onside. TURBULENTE (7) won her maiden on the PSF and merits consideration.
AMOUAGE (2) ran a strong race when finishing second over this course and distance in a Class 3 handicap earlier this month and is already a course winner over 1600m. Drawn well in stall five, he looks capable of going one better. NICK BOUTIQUE (7) may pose the biggest threat, having shown solid form on both turf and the PSF. LA BONITA (6) can be inconsistent but has the ability to feature each-way. CARLSTON (4) scored over this course and distance recently and deserves respect.
Runner-up in the Prix Djebel on his seasonal return, SAMANGAN (2) is likely to have come on plenty for that outing and looks the one they all have to beat. Stablemate KIMI REY (5) finished strongly in the Prix Sigy, going down narrowly, and rates a serious danger. STREET SHOW (3) is fitted with pacifiers for the first time and could bounce back to form. KAILANI (4), who caught the eye two starts ago, also warrants respect.
SEE THE LIGHT (8) finished a solid runner-up last time, staying on well, and is taken to go one better here. He had GOLD AND CASH (11) behind him that day, although that rival was showing clear signs of a return to form and shouldn't be underestimated. ARTURO (1) has solid credentials on the all-weather and can get involved in the finish. Consistent performer HER CHRISTOPHER (7) has again been handed a tricky draw but can get involved the finish..
An impressive winner on his return, SUMMER SAIL (12) looks a major player, especially given he scored on his sole outing over a straight course. TALES OF THE HEART (13) is something of an unknown on her French debut but clearly has plenty of ability. VICIOUS HARRY (4) must be respected in this company, while LANAKEN (10) also enters calculations, particularly with the easing of the ground in his favour.
Just denied in a better race than this over this course last autumn, TAMYZ (4) shaped well on his recent return and looks a leading contender, with only a wide draw to overcome. FEARLESS CHEETAH (2) was a surprise runner-up in a major handicap last time and is likely to be popular again, while TIGER ROCK (1) created a striking visual impression on 7 April and commands respect. Very much at home under these conditions, TREASURE KEEPER (5) also makes plenty of appeal.
A very open looking lucky race. Having returned from a lengthy absence, NEBUCHADNASSER (9) has shown clear signs of a revival in recent outings and could be ready to strike. DARIYANGEL (4) arrives on the back of two solid runner-up efforts over this course and distance, he is an obvious contender. YOUM IN LOVE (12) has been knocking on the door and deserves plenty of respect, while CLOUD MAN (11) travelled like the winner for a long way on 4 May and is not without a chance.
